Saturday in Redhook, Brooklyn

Do you ever find a top you love so much you just can’t seem to stop wearing it? This button-up tee is it for me! I’ve styled it so many different ways – with leggings, jeans, and even dress pants for work. I also can’t wait to wear it with a leather skirt when the weather gets a little warmer. I love the subtle leopard print so much and just saw this dress made out of the same material that I just might have to buy next!

I wore this outfit yesterday while visiting Redhook, Brooklyn which is one of my favorite hidden gems in NYC! I absolutely love going to Redhook Winery – it’s only $18 for a tasting of locally-made New York wines, and it’s located right on the water with beautiful views of the sunset so it’s the perfect place to spend the afternoon and into the night, while catching the sunset while you’re there. Next door to the winery, we stumbled upon a sign inviting us in to watch coffee beans being roasted, so of course we had to see what that was about! Inside we met the owner of Pipe & Tabor Coffee Roasting, and he educated us all about the process of roasting coffee beans! Plus, his coffee was delicious! We ended the day at Dinosaur BBQ, which is a MUST visit if you’re in the area. Even as a vegetarian I loved it – they had one of the best veggie burgers I’ve ever had and their mac and cheese is amazing! Living in New York, it’s always fun to get out of your own neighborhood and see what’s going on in other parts of the city.
